Firefox totally disappear from my computer after updating. Now I have NO browser nor a way to get one. Please help!
I was talking on Skype when a box appeared on my computer screen saying something like "Firefox is updating...." When I next tried to use my computer, the Firefox icon in my dock would not work, and I couldn't find an app in my OS. There was only an alias that was of no help. Please help!

Sorry, couldn't resist. Try completely uninstalling Firefox, rebooting and then reinstalling Firefox. You'll want to download the latest Firefox build, probably with Internet Explorer--I'm assuming you're on Windows, probably XP.
If you posted this question from someone else's computer, use it to download Firefox and put it on a thumb drive to get it to yours.
I posted it from a new Chromebook which will not accept downloads! So, now what! My original computer that lost Firefox is a Mac OS 10.5.
