I put in my info to sign in but forgot my user name so I asked to get an email to elecmd.com to help me sign in about another problem I am having.

I get emails from every other test I send to my self at elecmd.com but not one from Thunderbird even after saying to Thunderbird "Did not receive a confirmation email" 10 times?

my original Thunderbird problem is all the emails that I do get; when I open them they are ALL opened as Draft Messages and ready to send if I do not "CANCEL THEM". How do I STOP Thunderbird from making all opened inbox emails into Draft Messages. There is also an EDIT tab that does nothing to stop it from happening?

I love my super deluxe set up of Thunderbird, but how do I get rid of this "ALL emails always when opened, open as Draft Messages. I would upgrade my computer but don't want to lose my super deluxe set up of Thunderbird.

Thanks Max

re: when I open them Do you have the 'Message Pane' enabled ?

To open an email: Do you left click once on the email in the Message List? Do you double click on email in the Message List ?

In Windows OS, using 'Ctrl' + 'E' will open a highlighted email in Message List as a 'Edit as a new message' in a 'Write' window.

Restart Thunderbird in Safe Mode. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird Does it still occur?

What OS do you use?

my original Thunderbird problem is all the emails that I do get; when I open them they are ALL opened as Draft Messages and ready to send if I do not "CANCEL THEM" they end up as drafts. The links don't work either. How do I STOP Thunderbird from making all opened inbox emails into Draft Messages. There is also an EDIT tab that does nothing to stop it from happening? Sometimes if I open in a NEW WINDOW it is not a draft but the links still don't work on my dell computer.

I love my super deluxe HUGE set up of Thunderbird, but how do I get rid of this "ALL emails always when opened, open as Draft Messages. I would upgrade my computer but don't want to lose my super deluxe set up of Thunderbird and I still also love XP.

Max@ElecMD.com Maximilian F Jaroszewski III Text or call Electrical MD "Dispatch" at 203-924-8400 and say it is Thunderbird for to get to me (Max).

Thanks for the effort; but You read the last problem but not far enough to see "The REAL BIG PROBLEM" above and now first listed.

What anti virus product are you using?

Please post the troubleshooting information for your copy of Thunderbird.

  1. Open the menu Fx57Menu > Help > Troubleshooting Information, then click Copy text to Clipboard.
  2. Open a reply to this post, and paste your troubleshooting information.

If it complains about the length of your post, delete everything after the heading Graphics. I seriously doubt there will be anything in there of use in this issue.
