hello sandiev, these crashes all seem to happen when there is very high memory usage on the system. please see if a reset of the browser can address the issue: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings

Thank you. I did what you recommended but sadly, it crashed yet again shortly after doing what you said..

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

You can check for problems caused by plugins like Java.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

In Firefox Safe mode these changes are effective:

  • all extensions are disabled
  • the default theme is used (no persona)
  • userChrome.css and userContent.css are ignored
  • the default toolbar layout is used (localstore-safe.rdf)
  • the Javascript JIT compiler is disabled
  • hardware acceleration is disabled
  • plugins are not affected
  • preferences are not affected

another thing you could try is to launch firefox in safemode & see if it crashes there too: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

please also update to firefox 19 which is available since few days. if the crashes continue, then please report back with a few new crash report ids.

however it might also be a hardware issue with defective ram - you could run a test tool like MemTest or similar others to check for that...
