Self destructing cookies and random agent spoofer both have icons for the addons. I move the icons up to the navigation bar where they sit and function while I am using firefox. I then quit firefox normally and when I open it back up, the icons are back in the status bar. I have sync enabled which I think may be the problem, but I have yet to test that.

I looked into the answers and they didn't do the trick. I ended up turning sync off and turning it back on and adjusting the sync settings to replacing all data on the server and that resolved the issue. I'm not sure why this happened but I appreciate the responses and the help. Thanks.

UPDATE My mistake. It was working for awhile and I used cor-el's offered solution which appears to be working now. Thank you.
