Google, Mozilla.org, most other websites show up as untrusted in Firefox
Brand new installation of Firefox 28.0. Computer clock is set correctly. Computer already has Pale Moon and IE installed, neither have ever had this problem. Technical details of error:
startpage.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
startpage.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
addons.mozilla.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)
Additionally, when allowing exemptions, many websites still don't format properly. In navigating Mozilla.org to try and install Adblock Edge, "The add-on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on addons.mozilla.org" Troubleshooting copy/paste below:

hello, please attempt to add an exception on the bottom of the error page & inspect the certificate (see the screenshot attached for instructions): which issuer information does the certificate contain?
thank you!
"This Connection is Untrusted" error message appears - What to do
For both Startpge and Mozilla: Sendori, Inc Sendori, Inc <Not Part Of Certificate>
sendori is a useless program on your computer that intercepts your network traffic, most of the time it gets installed unintentionally (like bundled with other software downloads). please remove it from the windows control panel - that should address the issue"
in addition i'd recommend running a full scan of your system with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
