I have created a new email account in my Cox.net account. I use Mozilla for my mail system. I already have two email accounts on Cox and they work fine in Mozilla. When I added a third account it receives email that is displayed in Mozilla like the other two. When I send email from this new account I get a message that I must enter a password. I never get this message for the other two accounts. When I enter the Cox.net password Mozilla does not accept it. Any suggestions? Thank you.

new account are created without a password, so asking for it is normal.

Compare the passwords Thunderbird has for the other accounts and see if using the same one is what you need to do.
