as the picture shows on your site in the link below. You have a search bar in the toolbar and then a search bar in the middle of the webpage for searching. REALLY? I want to remove the search box that is taking up space in my cusomized tool bar and I've tried to drag that out and it won't go. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-new-tab-page

Isisombulu esikhethiweyo

The address bar in the main toolbar certainly can be used for searches, but it also is used to show the address of the current page and it is one of the few items that can't be removed from the main toolbar. In order to hide it -- some people only want it to appear when they hover over the toolbar area, for example -- you'll need to dive into the world of userChrome.css, an optional file you can create to modify the user interface.

I suggest this subreddit for help with major overhauls:

LOL, there's actually 3 search fields when you count the one on the New Tab page!

The 3rd one is hidden from the user, and can be made to show by the user thru the Customize menu preferences and thru Options > Search, at the top of that page. But it is my understanding that one will be eventually be removed completely from Firefox, which is a shame because I use that search field like 90% of the time due to features that I like that work slightly better that the other 2.

And as already mentioned, the one on the New Tab page can be hidden if you don't want to see it. Plus some users prefer a different New Tab page and change. I have done that in the past, but currently don't bother and live with all 3.
