Yesterday I downloaded and installed 103.0.0 Went to a website to view a rumble video, display driver crashed, had to restart computer. Today I checked for new version saw 103.0.1. Downloaded & installed it, tried same websites as yesterday, 3 in total, same problem.

Am using win7PRO, updated until Bill quit stopped supporting it. Have had NO problems with other vid platforms.......

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Since 'Upgrading' to FireFox 103, my Video Card would IMMEDIATELY Crash EVERY Time I went to RUMBLE.COM into the URL Address Bar. My computer is an older Windows 7 Computer with Intel HD Graphics Drivers.

Also I believe, since FireFox Crashed the actual Computer Hardware (and NOT the Browser itself) FireFox hadn't actually stored any 'Crash Reports' (as part of the recommended solution by Paul).

I assume that FireFox has implemented Additional Video Hardware Acceleration Features into their latest Version 103 Update that has created this newest Hardware Driver Conflict.

My Quick Solution that worked for me, was to just Turn OFF the Hardware Acceleration Feature in FireFox's 'Performance' Settings.

This may work for you too, especially if you have better things to do than chase around trying to find Driver Updates that may not even exist for your older Hardware.

It would be nice if Programmers would provide ways to Opt Out of New Features they create (or ways to backgrade/downgrade to previous Update Versions) for people who don't want to "Keep Up with the Jones's" with having to have the latest & greatest Computer Hardware & Operating Systems.

There are MANY of us who subscribe to the "If It Works, Don't Fix It" approach, me being one of them.

At least FireFox HAS left a CheckBox for "Use Hardware Acceleration When Available" Feature under the 'Performance' Section of FireFox Settings. Try Un-Checking this CheckBox if you experience similar problems with specific websites, and can NOT obtain more current Hardware Drivers for your computer.

Let me boot to Win7 and see what happens. What video card(s) are you running and what driver version? What security software are you running?

Same thing here. This happens on many websites, but rumble.com replicates the issue reliably.

Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 with all available updates, 64-bit Intel Core i7 with HD Graphics 3000

I downgraded to 102.0.1, which fixed the problem. It quickly updated itself to 103.0.2, which again caused the problem. So I downgraded again and turned off auto-updates.

Note that Opera and Chrome don't have this problem. So I can use outdated Firefox or Opera or Chrome.

I hope you guys fix this.

It's great that it works for you. But how does this matter? Just because you fail to replicate the problem does not mean that the problem does not exist for others.

I wish I could also fail to replicate the problem. Because then I wouldn't have the problem!
