I downloaded Firefox version 3.6. All works well but when I try to copy the new version into the applications folder I get the error message that says "The operation cannot be completed because the item "libsmime3.dylib" is in use".

Trash the current version before dragging the new version into the Application folder.

Was able to trash old version of Firefox and complete the install. Now I get the following message when I try to open Firefox:

Could not initialize the application's security component. The most likely cause is problems with files in your application's profile directory. Please check that this directory has no read/write restrictions and your hard disk is not full or close to full. It is recommended that you exit the application and fix the problem. If you continue to use this session, you might see incorrect application behaviour when accessing security features.
