My website used to load just fine on firefox without typing /index.html at the end but in the last couple days requires the index part. Do I have a glitch?

Usually I can go to my website by typing http://www.kristincalabrese.com. In the last couple days it will only load if I type this http://www.kristincalabrese.com/index.html. The first page has always been a /index.html page, but normally it doesn't have to be typed. I recently updated my site. It's still working on safari without the /index.html being typed. Do I need to reinstall firefox or something? I like firefox much better than safari.
