Why do I get an error message every time I attept to download firefox?
Every time I attempt to download it, a message comes up saying the download has been interrupted. I click okay and resume it, only to get a message saying the file is corrupt. I'm using windows 8 and as far as I know everything is up to date and meets all the requirements.

You can also try to download Firefox from the Mozilla CDN server here:
Another possibility is to open the Mozilla FTP website in Windows Explorer and download the Firefox set up file that way. See "How To Download Firefox On a New Computer Without Using Internet Explorer":

hello Hairee, please see if it is working correctly with the full installer instead that can be obtained from https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
I tried and its telling me it couldn't be downloaded.
is this link working? https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-31.0-SSL&os=win&lang=en-US
if not could you attach a screenshot of the error message that you're seeing?
So from your link I got the response in the first image. Second and third pictures are what happens when I use the original link. Thank you so much for your help and patience.
do you have problems when you try to download other programs as well?
i see that one recommendation for the situation would be to reset IE to its default state: http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Desktop-PC-Questions/quot-This-file-or-signature-is-corrupt-of-invalid-quot/m-p/2984285/highlight/true#M39848
such issues might also be caused by malware on a computer though...
