After the last update firefox continues to open pdf files with the its built-in plugin even if you set to "save file" the option for pdf files in the application tab. Why? It has always worked before this update

You can change the action for Portable Document Format (PDF) from Preview in Firefox to use another application like the Adobe Reader or set to Always Ask in "Firefox > Options/Preferences > Applications".
