The reset button is not where I was told it would be. Where is it?

That's pretty much it. The instructions on how to reset Firefox guide me to the troubleshooting page. I'm told there will be a reset button in the upper right corner of this page but there is not. Can anyone help me?

That button is on the about:support that is inside Firefox . That button only appears when you are using the default Profile, as it is listed in the profiles.ini file with Default=1 below the "path" line for the "default".

You shouldn't be having that problem, unless you are using the Profile Manager to launch that Profile or are launching that Profile by command line, this by-passing the Profile Manager and profiles.ini file.

Sorry for the "very technical" answer, but that only should happen when the "as installed" features in Firefox are changed or "enhanced".

What issues do you have that you want to refresh (reset) Firefox?

You can use the Profile Manager to start Firefox with your current profile.
