dividing pages to be printed from websites vertically in half on 2 pages

When I try to print a webpage the print preview (and the printed page) show the page divided vertically in half with each half showing up on 2 or more different pages. This is not happening when I view the same webpage in a different browser. I think it has something to do with the "View" setting. Thanks for your advice as to how to fix.

As far as I know, Firefox doesn't have a setting to split up a page into left and right halves, if that's what you mean. Some pages may contain layout rules that wrap a multi-column layout into a single long page if the width exceeds the space available. Sometimes you can fix that by using scaling -- either with "Shrink to fit" or a specific percentage value. The easiest way to experiment with that is using the toolbar control in Print Preview.

If you don't easily find a setting that fixes it, do you want to give a link to the page, assuming it doesn't require a logon to view?
