Everytime I go forward/back a page, the page history pulldown appears (I'm NOT right-clicking)
Each time I go forward or back a page (using the left and right arrows at the top left of firefox, next to the address bar), the pulldown history automatically opens. I am NOT right-clicking either arrow, and yet, this occurs.
This just suddenly began happening (before AND after updating from 49.01 to 49.02). I made NO changes to FF, nor updated any app/extension.
It's annoying and frustrating, because each time I go forward/back a page, the pulldown opens, then I have to click to close it, then click to continue with that page or go forward/back another page.
I hope I've explain this sufficiently.
Please help . . . annoyance/frustration level is high. ;-)

hi hyperion8, this is apparently caused by a bug in the betterprivacy addon. the extension author is aware of this and reportedly looking to release a fix for that soon, so please look out for a new version of that addon... https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/

Hi philipp,
Thank you very much for the prompt reply and the solution!
This is/was, indeed the issue. I've disabled betterprivacy, and the problem went away.
I am away from home on business--using my laptop--and somehow I inadvertently updated betterprivacy.
Again, thank you for the information. I'll be on the lookout for an update (hopefully) soon.
Cheers, hyp
