Firefox deletes entire text input's line when using CMD + DEL
Firefox is deleting the entire text input line when using CMD + Delete.
Expected Result: 1. Select an input field where you can type out text 2. Place input cursor in the middle of a line of text 3. Press CMD + Delete on keyboard 4. All text *to the left* of the cursor's placement should be deleted
Actual Result: 1. Select an input field where you can type out text 2. Place input cursor in the middle of a line of text 3. Press CMD + Delete on keyboard 4. All text on the line of the cursor's placement is deleted
Additional Notes: This breaks other competing browser behaviors and changes the way I work with text input on the daily.
Environment: macOS 10.13.2 Firefox 57.0.1 (64-bit) Source I used for testing: pastebin.com

Unfortunately that doesn't solve, nor answer, the situation here.
Delete is expected to delete yes, but the browser behavior that Firefox exhibits with CMD + DELETE goes against the behavior of every other major browser.
Since you've used DOS enough, I'll explain it this way: Firefox's behavior with CMD + DEL on macOS, mimics DOS' CTRL+C (CTRL+U on Unix) behavior when in actuality it should follow the CTRL + HOME (deleting everything to the left of the cursor) behavior.
