Can't find my school in job application
Not sure where else to ask this as my school isn't populating in the options and there isn't an option for others. I am a Canadian student applying to a Toronto internship position, but unable to submit my application because of the limited options available.

This is the (relevant part of) the email I just got from Greenhouse :
"Happy to help here - in taking a look at the thread linked, the response by user "jscher2000" is accurate, as the list of school names that appear as options when applying to a job is customized by the recruiting team at that company.
In this case, the best actions would be to either contact the recruiting team at Mozilla and request that they add your university to that list, or select a different university and note within our application the problems you were having so that they can add your university to the list for future candidates.
Hope that helps! Feel free to reach out if you have further questions. "

Populating as in? Screen shot? And does did happen with other Browsers?
Thought I attached an image, sorry about that: https://puu.sh/z8i6S/8019d7ce73.png
Yes, it does this with every single browser. My school, Sheridan College, does not exist in the school name database.
Are you applying to a position with Mozilla?
Or is this a problem that only occurs in Firefox -- your browser identified itself as Chrome?
Yes, I am applying to a position with Mozilla and there is nowhere else that I can ask for support. The fact that I posted this in the Firefox help forum is irrelevant — there is literally nowhere i can ask for help regarding this issue. I have tested this on every single browser already.
Maybe you should ask either your school or the site where you're supposed to submit your application.

Can you give a link to the page where the problem occurs? That may help track down whoever is responsible for the site.

Have you scrolled all the way down to :
"Which school are you currently attending? (if not listed, select other) If you do not see your school, or have been trained through alternative methods (alternative training methods can include coding academies, online classes like Coursera, books, or even self teaching!), please let us know here: "
And there you can fill in the name of your school .....
Yes, but it won’t let me submit the application without filling in the first school name field :/
Hi tinaweng, it seems the company that built the list requires each employer to add schools to it manually if it's incomplete. I don't know how to contact the person responsible for posting the position. The contact email for the job board company (according to its FB page) is hello@greenhouse.io
I think if the deadline is coming up soon, you'll have to skip over that field and rely on the reviewer to find the information in your resume.

Maybe pick a school closest to the one you're actually attending. You can always set the record straight later - after all : it's not your fault that Sheridan College is not on the list.
I forwarded this to Greenhouse and will hopefully get an email, or (with any luck) they'll report back in this thread.

I am now going to forward this to a Mozilla Administrator .....
