Why are two icons (Firefox & 'do not enter') constantly on screen?
Small Firefox icon enclosed in black border and small red circle with diagonal red appear constantly on my computer screen even when Firefox is not loaded. They are there in every program I load and block out numbers in accounting programs and words win WP programs. How do I get rid of them? If I can't, then I'm going to get rid of Firefox.

A icon with diagonal red bar usually means that you try to do something that isn't allowed. A file or folder might be read-only.

Hello tmarts,
Would you be so kind as to provide a screenshot of this phenomenon ?

How do I create a screenshot of my problem?
Once you've done this, attach the saved screenshot file to your forum post by clicking the Browse... button below the Post your reply box. This will help us to visualize the problem.
The icons disappeared when I restarted the computer. Should have done that before contacting support. If they reappear, I'll take and send a screen shot. Thanks for your reply
