Hi, what really really makes me leave FF is the issue that about every one, two weeks I look at a virgin firefox and all my 15+ attached website/tabs (my daily needed websites) are gone and I have to rebuilt this "dashboard" again and again and again ... and once again today

I think Edge does a much better job at not forgetting my settings (haven't really put Edge to the daily test yet(, but FF makes me mad ... so leave FF for good or will they soon develop something to save these "user pre-settings" to easily reload them ie. in case of update (or reload them automatically, even better)

But am close to leave FF after 20+ years because I am really mad

Thx Dan

Are you closing Firefox before you shut down the computer ?

Use one of these to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the Firefox Title bar, especially if you have multiple windows open to prevent losing tabs in unnoticed windows.

  • "3-bar" menu button -> Exit (Power button)
  • Windows: File -> Exit
  • Mac: Firefox -> Quit Firefox
  • Linux: File -> Quit

Thx cor-el,

today i was unfair to FF, a seconde window had somehow opened, the "old" one still had the saved tabs...

Thx for your help... normally I close FF with the top right X (Windows), you think that can be part of the issue?

Will try your idea... still it would be good if I could save my tabs as Edge can, hopefully FF will integrate that option Thx a million Dan
