I tried adding 2FA with two apps (Lastpass Authenticator and Authy). The mozilla account gets added without problems, but whenever I enter a code, Firefox tells me it is wrong. Anything I am missing here?

You need to contact those apps support to find out why you can't login to those software. Mozilla account isn't Lastpass or Authy.

Two-Factor authentication (2FA) works with a 6-digit time-based code (TOTP:Time-based One-Time Password) that is valid only for thirty seconds, so make sure that time and timezone are correct on all devices especially on the mobile device with the Authenticator App that generates the TOTP code. Mozilla is the only account that doesn't work on any of the 2FA apps I use on my phone. I just tried it again with the same result.

1. I scan the QR code with my 2FA app 2. The app adds Mozilla as a valid accaount 3. I input the code into the Mozilla confirmation within the valid period 4. Mozilla reports "Incorrent two-step authentication code" no matter what.

Hi

Is your phone set to automatically update it's clock?

The next time this happens, try the next code that the app changes to - it may be a little out of sync.

I tried multiple codes with multiple apps. My phone automatically updates it's clock, and Mozilla is the only 2FA account that doesn't work for me.

You can try to add the otpauth:// link directly instead of scanning the QR code.

You can try this extension on desktop and compare the generated TOTP code.
