some days ago I have changed the configuration of the my Firefox to have a Firefox with higher speed. But after changing I found that the speed has became slower. Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode. When you get to the Safe Mode window , select Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults and then Make Changes and Restart. You have to be very careful when a site tells you to change Firefox's settings. It may harm your Firefox.
