I recently installed firefox for android beta2 and it freezed my mobile phone (motorola milestone XT720) so I uninstall it from the phone only to realise that 14MB of my internal memory is not released upon uninstallation. I guess a bad uninstallation must have happened so I tried to reinstall it so that I can uninstall it again. However, the phone did not allow me to reinstall the firefox giving an error message saying that I do not have enough memory to install it (though I still have 43 MB internal memory free). Please tell me how can I uninstall firefox fully to regain the 14MB internal memory. Please note that my phone is rooted so you may also tell me the path to delete the file from the system as the package uninstaller doesn't see the firefox anymore so I can't uninstall using the package uninstaller.

Losing 14 MB for nothing is really a pain. Please help, thanks.

Sorry for the trouble! Unfortunately, I don't know if there's any way to fix this problem without doing a full reset of your phone to its factory default state.
