sir, i am having problems with certain websites such as "webice.ongc.co.in" with latest versions such as firefox 4 or 5, but it is ok with firefox 3 series such as v3.6.
with firefox 4 or 5, i can open the mentioned url, can login to it. but after logging in i cant open any link inside it. clicking the link simply does not respond. this problem does not occur with firefox 3 which i am using currently.

-> Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
- Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
- Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
- Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Check and tell if its working.
i followed your steps, but it is not working. i even tried firefox 7 but invain. so i am compelled to revert back to firefox 3. now i am explaining the problem a bit more. when i log in to the site "webice.ongc.co.in" welcome screen comes which is same as ATTACHED image in this reply. in the left panel you can see the EXPANDABLE links. but when i click on them to expand it does expands. instead it says loading under the clicked link. and it actually remains as it is. you can see this in the ATTACHED image as i clicked on OFFICE button it says loading, but it never loads. THIS PROBLEM IS ASSOCIATED WITH ONLY LATEST VERSION OF FIREFOX SUCH AS FIREFOX 4, 5, 7 (i tried them all). but it is does not occur with FIREFOX 3.
