I feel so silly asking this question, it seems so elementary. But I have the same problem as the original poster taramurphy. My problem is not how to synch it, it's how to find something to synch TO. I am looking for something to download to my iPhone and coming up dry. If I had the iPhone app I could take it from there ... Thank you kbrosnan ... but WHERE IS THE APP????

If you use the first link offered in Chosen Solution post, that IS the app. Open it in iTunes then transfer to your device/s. I have an iPhone 3 and it works fine on that. Note: it helps to be near your computer and your iPhone at the same time.
