Not sure if my Mozilla was updated or not, but all of a sudden, I no longer have my bookmarks. I used to be able to click on Bookmarks on top of the toolbar and see all my bookmarks. I still have the menu, and when I click on Bookmarks, I have the following options:

Show All Bookmarks Bookmark This Page Bookmarks Toolbar Unsorted Bookmarks

If I click on show all bookmarks, I get a Library Box, with nothing in it. Ditto "Unsorted Bookmarks." Under LIbrary, I've tried to click on Restore and selected a date, but nothing happens. I'm at a loss how to proceed, and am REALLY hoping all my bookmarks haven't been erased somehow. It should be noted that I did have a couple trojan viruses that I successfully removed using Malware Antibytes, but there was no sign that they caused any problem.

Problems with bookmarks and history not working properly can be caused by a corrupted places.sqlite database file.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

When I try to RESTORE and choose a date, nothing happens. The date listed does precede the time that this problem occurred.
