File downloading problem specific to Firefox
I download files on my Mac from internet sites accessed with Firefox, using the Speed Download application. This normally proceeds without problems.
However, in some cases what is downloaded is a very small file (usually 20-50 KB) with a .php suffix, after which the download ends and the connection is dropped.
The problem appears to be specific to Firefox, since if I then try to download the same file, from the same address, with Safari, it downloads properly.
Can anyone please explain what is going on, and what if anything I can do about it?

Try with Default Downloader.
- Firefox > Preferences > Application
- Search for the file type and change to "Always Ask"
