firefox 34.0.5 does not load choosen startpage (Options, General) anymore
since some time Firefox 34.0.5 does not load my personally chosen startpage Google.com anymore but picks Google.es (=Spanish version! Note, I live in Spain....?). I have run Malware bytes and my anti virus program. Nothing detected.

Google has many different domains for different countries and languages. It's possible that Google is simply detecting that you are in Spain and switching to the appropriate localization.
