i was told i must change my compatibility settings before being able to use a government site. the process was explained for doing this on internet explorer but not for firefox. on explorer i simply have to go to tools and click on compatibility view. how do i do the same on firefox?

Well, unfortunately, Firefox doesn't have a compatibility view feature. (What that does it emulate older versions of IE, which Firefox can't do.)

If the site doesn't work properly in Firefox, then you'll have to use IE for that site.
