I used to be able to readily find the current FireFox version using the options drop down menu. I no longer am able to do. Its like there is a "We've got a secret," going on. In the help drop down menu under about FireFox it used to be there. Now, finding if you are updated is a chore. I have and administrator account and a user account on my computer. I usually run in the user account. As a result, FireFox will not automatically update as I have specified in my options and am directed to your website to update. If you do not have a version readily visible nor one is readily visible in my browser options making security updates is far from user friendly.
