What is the problem with Mozilla and XFINITY/Comcast e-mail?
Normally, I can access my Comcast e-mail account. Sometimes, like now, when I sign in the e-mail portion will not load; I not been able to access my e-mail account on my PC all day and I need to. Yes, it works fine on my IPhone. It's not Comcast. The night before I had no problem; a few hours later, no joy. Once in a while this cycle happens. This one is lasting a long time. Why?

Hi, also it was Microsoft Patch Tuesday. It could have been a update your got from them that stopped you or fixed you.
The problem is back. More intermittent than ever. Did restore; no joy. Turned off Microsoft. On Windows task manager, when I access the e-mail website for Comcast/Xfinity, Firefox goes berserk with numerous processes (6 or 7) running and one always zooming up to well over a million. A glass of sherry (in me) did not help either.

Hi, lol, might have need 2.
- Repair System Registry and Files
Find the Dos Prompt Right Click and Run as Administrator then : Copy/Paste to Dos Window : SFC /Scannow (SFC <space>/Scannow) then hit Enter Note : DISM goes up to Microsoft for new ones on Win10, SFC uses local files.
Since it is intermittent will be hard to pin down so take your time with checking your extensions : Please Refresh but do this 1st: Delete your Cookies and Cache and TEST.
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles
then
TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:
If is your Profile :

Note: Any customization will revert back to default, you will also need to reinstall Extensions.
