Is there a way to always open links in new tabs from a specific tab?

more options

Hi all,

So I have a pinned tab that is automatically refreshed via an extension. That extension is URL based. From time to time I may accidentally clicked a link on that tab and the URL changed then the auto-refresh stops.

In order to keep the auto-refreshed tab's URL, I would like to always open the links on that tab in a new tab, but keep normal behavior on any other tabs. Is it possible to do that?

Thanks,

Jeremy

HI DR.....

Click on "Settings" which you can find at the end of the page. Now enable the option of "Open each selected result in a new browser window".

Save the settings. Make a new search and you will see
each link you click will open in a new tab

Try middle-click (click your scroll wheel) on the link

Alt + left click works, also.

Yeah that will change the behavior of all tabs right? I would like to only apply this setting to one specific tab.

Yes I am aware of this. But sometimes I sort-of forgot doing so then the URL of that tab is messed up.

I need a way to apply "always open in new tab" on a specific tab only.

Thanks

I'm not aware of any way to achieve that except globally. Have you looked for an extension which might help?
