When I Sync into my Firefox account, i get ads at the beginning of YouTube videos despite having a ad blocker, when i sign out, no more ads. What is this? how do i stop it?

i like having my account Synced up, for all sorts of reasons and I shouldn't have to deal with ads that circumvents my ad blocker. I'm a old hat at this point at Firefox, i know how to use a ad blocker and I'm having no problems with any other browsers. i have a fresh install of Firefox, less then a month old on one PC.

I think what happen is, someone in the marketing department over their at Mozilla thought it would be a great idea, to do customized ads via Sync account, not realizing the mechanism of doing this, circumvents all ad blockers.

I'm willing to go into the about:config, if that's what it takes

Hope somebody has a solution!!!!!!

Thank you.

its seem to be a issue when I'm not synced now too. :I :(

I'm noticing it on multi of PC's though

i have have been on ad-blockers discord boards and I'm not the only one with this issue either, looks like, i may have to go with another browser for my daily driver, if not fixed soon, i have seen through the years, YouTube pull a fast one on the ad blockers for a day or two, but this seems to be the longest period of time without the ad-blockers figuring it out, the troubling thing is, it's only on Firefox, making me think, Mozilla might be partly behind it :(

I don't know why Mozilla would let their market share go down even more, when Chrome, which parent company owns YouTube too, tolerates ad-blockers, blocking YouTube ads completely as we speak? but things are not always straightforward; i wonder if given that the number one donor to Firefox is Google, if they asked Firefox to be a test case; Why YouTube red, if ad blocker? i bet a lot of other players would love to shutdown the ad-blockers too, but that just me hopefully being paranoid.
