Today, when I tried to log in to my Disqus account I started getting the following message:
Privacy Badger has replaced this Disqus widget Allow once
Do I need to do something to my settings either in Firefox or Privacy Badger?

You would have to contact the Privacy Badger creator for questions about his extension.
You can disable Privacy Badger for this website in case this extension is blocking essential content.
