I do not know why I bother posting when it is easier to just uninstall all Mozilla products on any device where I might have used them reliably in the past but cannot any longer. Firefox no longer runs on my Windows 7; in fact it does not even open. That is as of your last update when the crashing began, almost two months ago though it seems longer. As for this Mac Catalina, the only system I have where I can access these pages, Firefox looks like garbage. Pages do not download entirely. Check-off boxes, click buttons and drop down menus often do not work. For all the updating on Catalina this Firefox underwent, these problems never get fixed.

I do not understand the relationship Mozilla has with SeaMonkey; but I can no longer log into my Account there on MozillaZine; and there is no alternative way to contact them. My Profile does not show when I login. It will not allow me to establish a new Account with other email addresses I use. It constantly crashes on Windows 7. The SeaMonkey browser will not open these pages on attempts to login. Since these problems with Firefox are persistent, I was going to post about them on MozillaZine, which I cannot do any longer. There is no means of reporting login problems there. Additionally, some Apple commentators on their forums believe that SeaMonkey is a storage hog. I have kept it here because it works reasonably well despite the Account problems.

SeaMonkey has the reputation of not getting rigorous support. Between that and Firefox I do not know which is worse. As I stated before in a previous thread, the check off box below does not show a check when I click on it. I hope it is clear that I am posting this through Firefox on my Mac. The Submit button is faint.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

  1. Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
  2. Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.

Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

Thank you for your help!

More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.

You must be referring to the Windows 7 for crash reports. Firefox is not on that system. The program immediately closes upon opening; so I took it off. It would not have stayed open long enough to do all this to obtain crash reports. Then, on my Mac Catalina, Firefox is horrible looking.
