Software Update prompt won't go away
It just says "downloading update" and "connecting to the server" forever with a hide box that comes up periodically to request software update again.

Remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates (%LOCALAPPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Mozilla Firefox\updates)
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\updates
