Web Builder v6.7.2 vs. Firefox v4.0.1

more options

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, in particular between Web Builder v6.7.2 and Firefox v4.0.1. I want to play a sound file by clicking ("onclick") on an image. The problem is that the WB "onclick" HTML only works with IE(8), but not with Firefox. If I set the media-player object "Auto Start" to ON, the sound plays in IE and FF when the website opens, but still not in FF when the image is clicked. The same things happen when the player-object is Quick Time or Windows Media Player object, the sound-file is an MP3 or WAV, and when the "onclick" object is an image or a button.

I've spent over an hour researching this on the Internet with the intention of "fixing" the html code manually, but I couldn't find any examples as simple as mine. Still, I have to believe that WB and FF should work together, and there is nothing on the Web Builder nor Firefox websites saying either is incompatible with the other. I'd like to know what I can load into one or the other to make this work. Or, if it won't and I'm relegated to manually hacking the HTML code after publishing the website, what changes I need to make it work in FF and IE.

I made two test websites for myself.

http://lockknot.org/onclickason http://lockknot.org/onclickasoff

They consist of only one image, one wav file, and one player. If they work with anyone else's FF, then that would show that the problem is with my FF installation.

The HTML of the website with the Auto Start ON (the only HTML file in the kit) is below.

Thanks -

George
