Clear history is not working
Chose Never remember History but History does not clear on exit and there is nowhere in Options to chose Clear/Delete History. Also, Clear Search History does not appear in drop-down window.

If you select "Never Remember history" then you enter Private Browsing mode and "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session" will be selected.
Firefox doesn't keep history and save other data to disk if you are in PB mode, so there is nothing to clear.
To see all the History and Cookie settings, select:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history"
Firefox shows "(Never) Remember history" if the history and cookie setting are the default.
Make at least one change to the default setting if you want "Use custom settings for history" to stay selected.
Otherwise Firefox will revert to "(Never) Remember history" if you return to the Privacy tab.
The choice "Use custom settings for history" will stay selected as long as not all settings are the default to make you aware that you made changes.
