I keep getting 'unresponsive script js/ff_browser:204' asking to stop or continue; windows XP FF8
This keeps popping up even though I am doing nothing with FF, just leaving it on my home page. Every few minutes this pm. Doesn't occur if busy browsing

Without knowing which page you have set as your homepage, I can only guess that the page is periodically refreshing content on that page giving you those repeated error messages. You need to post the entire error message for us to help you.
orange Firefox button > Web Developer -> Error Console - or {Ctrl + Shft + J}
Locate that error in the list, right-click that message and select Copy. Then paste that error message unto the Reply box here.
