On most websites, command+click opens a link in a new tab. Some sites seem designed to prevent this, however, and the link opens in the existing tab. Nevertheless, using "Open Link in New Tab" from the context menu does open the link in a new tab. So it seems to me that command+click doesn't execute exactly the same command as the context menu item, or that somehow websites can tell the difference. Anybody know of a way to force a link to open in a new tab with command+click, regardless of how the website is designed? Note: I'm not talking about links where Flash is involved.

hello, is this always happening on the same pages? - if so, can you provide an example please...

I've seen it from time to time on a variety of pages. Most recently, I've encountered it at http://realestate.nytimes.com/sales/new-york-ny-usa when I try command+clicking on individual listings. It doesn't seem random. Some pages always behave this way, but most never do. It seems like all or none.
