my game posts for facebook have stopped posting since i upgraded to the newest version of firefox, how do i fix this
I have tried clearing my cache but this hasnt made any difference. I haven't made any changes to my settings. The posts simply dont appear on my timeline or in my activity log. A few of my friends had the same problem and have had to downgrade to an older version of firefox but I am reluctant to do this. Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this problem?

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.
Thank you.
hello, maybe it's also the new mixed content blocker at work: Mixed content blocking in Firefox.
thanks for the reply, the add ons that i have weren't causing a problem with the old version of firefox and I haven't added anything new. I dont really want to disable the add ons because i use them, especially the McAfee site advisor. The only thing that has changed is the firefox upgrade......maybe I should just quit playing facebook games :-(
I have reinstalled firefox and it says that all my add ons are compatible. I also checked to see if the mixed content blocker was causing the problem but its not so I am at a loss as to what to do next
Can you reproduce in a new profile?
Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
