download speed?
i want to ask what is the maximum download speed of firefox for android???..my phone support 7.2mbps and i used 3g which gives 500-700KBps...
and whats the difference in firefox beta and firefox for android?

hello, the browser shouldn't the bottleneck for download speeds, since it simply relies on the rates that are available through your hardware, network and surroundings. 7.2 Mbps translates to 906 kB/s, so the rates you're getting seem plausible...
a new firefox version for android is released every 6 weeks after it has gone through the beta channel (so "beta" is always one version ahead and will contain features that will make it in the next release version): www.mozilla.org/mobile/24.0beta/releasenotes
