How to change size of url & Google search boxes?
I was able to change the size of the URL box, but not the Google Search box. By doing so, I could display more extensions in the FF window.

Can you attach a screenshot to show what you try to achieve?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.
Note that you would have to set a fixed width for both the location bar and search bar to disable their flex attributes.
Add code to the userChrome.css file below the default @namespace line.
The customization files userChrome.css (user interface) and userContent.css (websites) are located in the chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder.
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ #urlbar-container { max-width:400px !important; } #search-container { max-width:200px !important; }從原來的回覆中察看解決方案 👍 2

Hello, Have you tried Firefox's zoom feature? This will help increase the size of web pages.
- To make things bigger, press Ctrl and + at the same time.
- To make things smaller, press Ctrl and - at the same time.
- To reset the size back to normal, press Ctrl and 0 at the same time.
You can also use the NoSquint. add-on to change the default zoom level for all websites at once. After setting your global zoom level, you can still fine-tune the zoom on individual sites.
Using NoSquint:
- After installing NoSquint, make sure you have the Add-on Bar displayed:
- Right-click the new tab button ("+") or a blank area of the tab bar to the right of it and choose Add-on Bar from the shortcut menu.
- Click the % on the Add-on Bar to call up site preferences, then click the Global Settings button, then the Zooming tab.
- You can experiment with sizes larger than 125%, but it's not recommended that you go higher than 150% unless you have a large high-resolution monitor.
If there are particular sites that still present a problem, feel free to post their URLs.
Please let us know if this helped you!
Thank you.
The URL bar will resize itself to fit whatever space is available. If you want to limit the size of the search bar, you can create a userChrome.css file in a chrome subdirectory in Firefox's profile, and put this code into it:
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); #search-container { -moz-appearance: none !important; min-width: 180px !important; max-width: 180px !important;}
You can put more extension buttons on the Add-on Bar, so they do not have to be in the navigation toolbar.
