When you are on this page:
https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
There is a section where you can deselect extras. Some Adblock Plus users have reported that that section was hidden because it looks like an ad. Not sure if that could be what happened to you.

The Adobe website offers other downloads with their programs. This is clearly stated.
How do I uninstall True Key https://www.bing.com/search?q=remove+True+Key&qs=n&form=QBRE&pq=remove+true+key&sc=4-15&sp=-1&sk=&cvid=A77ED4B7EA0C46E3A077BF026885E72E

For Windows when downloading from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ make you un-select the extras before download. This is not a issue for Mac OSX and Linux users as they do not use installers like .exe.
You can download just the Flash Player for Windows NPAPI at https://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html however Adobe may be discontinuing page on June 30th. Not the first time they said they were going to.

If you say its clearly stated, then it must be so, but I missed it all the same. And I still see nothing about "True key"
