Daily I open several groups of tabs, most of these load the current version of the page, but some groups open to an older version. I fixed this problem in the past but Firefox has updated many times since then and I don't want to lose any other data that I have on the multiple windows I use every day.

You might want to try this now that it is fixed and up and current again https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/?src=ss

I suggest uninstall/remove WOT as reputation is very bad, selling your information. If Google WOT alternatives will find some replacements.

There are some graphic card errors ya may want to update to new drivers released yesterday for your card https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/98909/Intel-HD-Graphics-630 Note Windows 10 can and will replace your hardware drivers to their own. https://www.howtogeek.com/302595/how-to-stop-windows-10-from-automatically-updating-hardware-drivers/

Finally could you update your Flash to new version released 2 days ago

https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/

Step 1: Select Operating System Step 2: Select A Version (Firefox, Win IE . . . .) Note: Other software is offered in the download. <Windows Only>

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

I've done most of what youv'e suggested, as I don't know all that much about the graphics card errors I've not done so as I haven't had a chance to look into it much. And now I have the same issues as well as many things not loading such as web pages, some I have to reload several times before it will even start loading and others will not load any pictures and I have to reload several times.

I waited to see if it would clear up with time but it has not.

Re your original problem : Do you by any chance use CCleaner  ? If you do, would you go into their settings and deselect the option to clear Firefox session data  ? The format and name of the session history files have changed recently, which may have created a compatability issue with the cleaning feature, and might be responsible for this problem.

Note that Firefox usually first tries to load pages from the disk cache when possible, so you may see this happen when you see and older copy of a web page.

A possible workaround is to clear the disk cache when you close Firefox ("Clear history when Firefox closes"). To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:

But if I select this would it erase my history every time I close like my tabs and passwords?

If you make sure that only Cache has a checkmark and no other items have a tick then you should be fine and you won't lose your tabs and passwords.

Thank you, I will try this for a few days and see if that helps
