Do I need all the add-ons mentioned in description as they may slow down Firefox browsing
Hi everyone,
I would be glad if I get a tip for my add-ons that I have installed on Firefox WIN7 as I think some of them are slowing down my browsing.
Add-ons:
Privacy Badger + Decentraleyes + Privacy Possum + Disconnect + Ghostery + DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials ( I already set DuckDuckGo as default search engin in privacy & security settings) + Private Bookmarks + HTTPS everywhere + uBlock Origin + Mute Tab + Dark reader + Facebook Container.
I noticed that Facebook and YouTube are using a lot of CPU.
Firefox is set to media.peerconection.enabled - false
I am already happy for your support!
Wishing you a beautiful day, ***

You seem to have a lot of content blocking related extensions that may overlap and use a (disconnect) list similar to the Firefox content blocker:
Privacy Badger Privacy Possum Disconnect Ghostery DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials (has not much to do with the DDG search engine) uBlock Origin

Hello tris, Here are a couple of articles which may help you decide: Review installed extensions and Tips for assessing the safety of an extension And, of course, CPU & memory usage will affect performance.
Have you noticed any other slow-downs? Facebook and YouTube use a lot of clips.

I do not know what clips are. But I can say my Laptop is warming up when I am online. Maybe I will learn how to menage that with links that you and cor-el provided. I thank you both for that.
Wishing you both a beautiful day.
