Hi, I have been in love in this lovely firefox for years. Recently, I have a few projects in hand that require me to keep record of all the history/cashe/cookies. However, due to each project is unique, the last thing I want to do is to mix all the record together. Friends suggested me to install other browser, but none of them is as good as firefox. Is there a way that I can run two or more firefoxs that they don't share history/cashe/cookies? Please kindly advise, thank you for your help.

Isisombululo esikhethiwe

Do you need to run two different Firefox version or two independent instances of the same version?

For different versions you need to do a custom install and install each version in its own program folder.

You do need to create a separate profile for each instance of Firefox that you want to open and start additional instances with the -no-remote switch appended to the command line.
It is also easier and better to have desktop shortcuts for each version to start with its own profile.

C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox(1)\firefox.exe -P "profile_1"
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox(2)\firefox.exe -no-remote -P "profile_2"
