How do I reduce the bookmarks on my toolbar to icons rather than icons+website names?

On Internet Explorer, the program allowed me to fit more bookmarks onto the toolbar by reducing the bookmarks to merely icons. I can't seem to find a way to do that with Firefox. Because of this, I can't fit nearly all of them onto the toolbar.

Hi jdgoss,

Install the following, after reading about each

The idea with the style above is that you] make most of the items on the Toolbars menu folders, and keep the foldernames and bookmark/bookmarklets names that actually show on the Bookmarks toolbar very short like 1-4 characters.

Styles are very small and generally just a few lines of code, and you can modify them if you want to make changes.

You can abbreviate individual bookmark names on the toolbar right down to nothing leaving only the icon - right click on bookmark>properties>edit name. If you are not familiar with the icon or it is not obvious you can use a very short name.

Space is also helped greatly by grouping bookmarks in folders(which will need a short name) on the toolbar. When you open the folder you can click on individual bookmarks or "Open All in Tabs".

I presume you know that the overflow from the Bookmarks Toolbar runs down the right side of your screen. Click on the double chevron(arrowheads) >> at the end of the toolbar.
