I am on Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 I cant complete my upgrade from 3.6.19 as a message box pops up say 'The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient priveleges for some of the items. Can anyone help? Thanking you
I am on Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 I downloaded the current upgrade of firefox onto my desktop when i went to the next step to move the icon into my applications folder a message box popped up saying 'The operation cannot be completed because you do not have sufficient priveleges for some of the items. I cant complete my upgrade from 3.6.19 Can anyone help? Thanking you

1. Download a new copy of the Firefox program
2. Firefox 3.6.27: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
3. Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install.
4. Install the new version that you have downloaded.
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks or other personal data.

You didn't mention which version of Firefox you want to upgrade to.
Firefox 3.6.x is the last available from Mozilla for PPC Macs.
