rescinding security exception
following a "This Connection Is Untrusted" error message on a site I habitually use I chose to ignore the warning and set an exception. I have now changed my mind but cant find a way to undo this.
can it be done? where?
Using imac macosx 10.6.8.

See if you can find the exception here:
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Encryption: Certificates > View Certificates : Servers
You can also check for the presence of a cert_override.txt file in the Firefox Profile Folder and delete or move the file to remove all exceptions that are stored in it.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Options%20window%20-%20Advanced%20panel#w_certificates Is where you can go to delete a certificate.
I dont fully understand these things but I dont think I want to delete a certificate. The situation was that firefox told me the site I wanted to visit had no valid certificate for a secure link. I overrode that and accepted it as an exception. it is this exception I want to remove
