Since updated to version 22.0, am having printing problems. Will not print a web page to any printer. It goes through print setup menus and then when print executed, nothing happens. Thereafter menu access to printer is no longer available or I get message,"some print features and disabled. Am running windows 7 ultimate., and printing to network canon/epson printers. All other system print functions appear to run normally.

Regret did not solve problem, but useful in the I gained better insight into print issue. So far my best solution to the print issue is to use Google Chrome. however, my preference is Firefox, since I do little printing. There are two print paths in Firefox, each of which react differently: 1. Print directly from viewed window by going to file/print: Nothing is sent to printer. File/print option disappears from menu. Sometimes a message appears that "...some print options are not available", and eventually Firefox hangs, requiring closing the task using task manager. 2. Print from file/print preview...print. This works with some screens. Often prints just the web page header and footer, but does not print the content of the web page, even though the content is displayed in the "print preview" display. I have reviewed all of the printer settings as suggested within Firefox, and they all appear consistent with the printer (a Canon 990) and the printer configuration. The printer works well with all other applications. (P.S. I am running a 32-bit Firefox on a 64-bit machine, if that matters)

Did you try to reset of all your printer preferences in about:config?

I tried a complete printer reset as requested. The printer entries were re-created when I restarted and tried to print, however in both cases the printer entry in the .js file was created as "print_printer", not "print.printer" as the instructions indicate it should be.
